ASA NYC November Meeting -- How Attorneys Use Appraisers and Appraisals
The November chapter meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at the National Arts Club, 15 Gramercy Park South, New York, NY 10003 (212-477-2389). This will be a joint meeting with the ASA LI Chapter, which has arranged for panel of attorneys from the NY and NJ law firm of Herrick, Feinstein LLP to address the topic -- How Attorneys Use Appraisers and Appraisals.
The panel comprises Herrick partner John A. Rogers Jr. (Corporate, Securities), associates Andrew M. Grumet (Taxes, Trusts & Estates, Not-for-Profit), Matthew Hawkins (Litigation), and Frank K. Lord, IV (Art Law), and counsel Kenneth E. Kobylowski (Real Estate). They will discuss the use of appraisals in their respective areas of practice. Appraisers in all disciplines will appreciate this program, which qualifies for one hour of ASA Continuing Education Credit.
